ASSOCIATION OF BEHAVIOURAL RESEARCH ANALYSTS AND PSYCHOMETRICIANS (AB-ReAP) exists to annex analytical resources among members, to enhance skills for global and relevant professional performance among behavioural research analysts and psychometricians.

Our Constitution

ABReAP shall pursue the following objectives:

ARTICE 1- NAME

The name of the Association shall be ASSOCIATION OF BEHAVIOURAL RESEARCH ANALYSTS AND PSYCHOMETRICIANS (ABReAP) herein after called “Association”

The Association fixed properties shall be called BEHAVIOURAL RESEARCH ANALYSTS AND PSYCHOMETRICIANS

ARTICLE 2- VISION, MISSION AND OBJECTIVES

ASSOCIATION OF BEHAVIOURAL RESEARCH ANALYSTS AND PSYCHOMETRICIANS (ABReAP) Vision

To be an outstanding association with skillful members in Behavioural Research Analysis and Scale development, with the intent of global competitiveness.

Mission

To promote analytical knowledge and skills for excellent and quality outputs in the area of behavioural research and scale development.

Aim

To annex analytical resources among members, to enhance skills for global and relevant professional performance among behavioural research analysts and psychometricians.

Objectives

ABReAP shall pursue the following objectives:

  • identify new global trends in behavioural Research and Scale development
  • source for updated software that will promote quality research and reduce turndown rate of articles by highly rated journals
  • organize workshops to train members on how to use new software, primarily for turning out high quality behavioural researchesp
  • publish articles for members in the association’s journal based on annual Theme and also Source reputable journals for other articles that will not match the theme
  • create platform for interactions and collaborations among members
ARTICLE 3- MEMBERSHIP
  • Membership shall be opened to all analysts in behavioural research and scale development only. (Concession can be given to staff of examination institutions/boards)
  • Membership shall be through application directed to the President of the association.
  • To effect membership, applicants must promise to abide by the Constitution and pay the prescribed entrance fee as stipulated by the Association.

Qualifications for Membership

All intending members must have the following qualifications:

Minimum academic qualification of first degree in behavioural field.

Possess basic research skills.

  • (c) Ability to demonstrate Computer proficiency
  • (d) Payment for application fee
  • (e) Complete membership application form
  • (f) Passed with minimum score of 60% in Membership entrance Examination (to be effected after the first 5 years of the creation of the association
ARTICLE 4 - EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE (EXCO)
  • (a)The Executive committee shall consist of nine (13) members. The first EXCO members shall maintain their offices for two terms of two years per term. The intention is to stabilize the activities of the Association in line with the stated objectives.
  • (b)The administration of the Association shall be performed through the Executive Committee.
  • (c)The tenure of the executive committee shall be two years; no member shall hold the same post for more than two terms consecutively.
  • (d)A member of the executive committee shall cease to hold office if he/she:
